It’s time for another Lucha Vavoom. Well, at least it will be in February… Lucha Vavoom returns to the Mayan Theater February 14, 15, and 16. Don’t miss it! Tickets went on sale last Friday and are sure to sell out (as they always do). The boys of SEVENOHFIVE will be joining this time (all of them – even BROCK!)
In music news…I’ve had The Hanks in heavy rotation in the truck and on the Nomad. I also have Interpol playing pretty regularly. I have to thank the boys of SEVENOHFIVE for turning me on to The Hanks and Saves The Day. Both were featured in SEVENOHFIVE movie end credits and they just stuck. And let’s not forget 311 with their latest, Don’t Tread On Me. They’re always good for a spin.
Lastlly, insanity can be obnoxious, but at least there are people who understand.

Had a very busy weekend. And yet none of it seemed to be able to take my mind off the nagging things in my head. I truly think hermits have a point now. Which reminds me (again), I need to get back to drawing. I can’t begin to explain how many ideas are trying to burst onto paper.
I did get the external hard drive connected to the network using this Linksys Network Storage Link. After a bit of headaches, it’s working fine. Now the next agenda item is to see if I can get the second drive to appear (which is not as pressing, since all the info I really need is on the one that’s hooked up already).
Lastly, the boys of SEVENOHFIVE.com have finally put one of their movies on DVD. They chose COP BLOCK: The Movie. Order it here while supplies last. The first 25 people to order get a free rubber chicken keychain*.
* – They currently have rubber chicken keychains.

December’s here. 2005 is almost gone. This time last year I was getting a lot less sleep (with a 3 1/2 month old). This time last year I had a lot less worries at work too. You really can never tell how things will go… I’ve made some stupid decisions (most with the best of intentions), only to realize that I was completely off-base. What can I say? You have to trust that people will understand you enough to overlook your eccentricities. So, what have I learned this year…? I’ve learned that no matter what happens, a certain little person’s smile can make it all go away. I’ve learned that family will always be there for you, but it’s your real friends who you can count on to relate to you. And of course, I’ve learned, that there is so much more to learn. So, here’s to a Happy Holiday to all!
