The Children are Our Future
When I work in the garage, I usually have some of the old cassette tapes playing. Yesterday, I was working to Haircut 100’s Pelican West tape and the kid came out to see what was going on. She started bee-bopping and dancing like a mad-woman. It was pretty hilarious. Seems she liked the disco-style vibe of that album. Good to know some kids these days still appreciate the classics.

Connected & Disconnected
It’s funny how you can be more connected to people you hardly see than to people you see everyday. Through the wonders of technology, I can keep more in touch with people I’ve met only a few times in person, have never met in person, or people I hardly know. It may have more to do with the fact that these other people have nothing to do with work. Escapism, if you will. It’s faster (read easier) to talk to people you never see than to those right next to you. The interesting thing is how fast you get used to it and consequently how comfortable it ends up feeling.

Miguel Gonzalez, R.I.P.
Life has a way of reminding you of your place. Tonight, I watched my cousin take his last breaths. He was diagnosed just a month ago with inoperable cancer and just like that, he was gone. I’m glad I went to see him. He and his family have stood by us for 13 years on every anniversary of my Dad’s passing. Miguel, I will miss you very much. May you rest in peace. And keep my Dad company.

Luuuuuuucha!!!!
Lucha Vavoom was awesome! More action than last time. LAPON and Bella both were collateral damage in some of the out of the ring action. Check it out for yourself!
